Christ the King Catholic Church is located in Old Towne Daphne, AL. Our parish is a sign of Christ's presence in the Eastern Shore Community.
Christ the King was established as a parish on October 24, 1937, when Bishop Thomas J. Toolen laid the cornerstone for the church building. The parish school, Christ the King Catholic School, opened in 1949 under the leadership of Father Denis Gray, pastor, with the assistance of the Sisters of Loretto. The school serves nearly 500 students in grades K-8 today.

A big thanks to Boy Scout Troop 87 and their Leaders for hosting our Lenten Dinner this past Friday. It was very nice being served at the table by the scouts.
CTK Youth Ministry will once again be hosting Easter Family Fun Day on April 13 from 10 am - 12 pm in the field behind the gym for the children of the parish ages 0-8. There will be an inflatable, crafts, refreshments and egg hunts. Egg hunters will need to bring a basket. Egg hunts will begin promptly at 10:30.

Our Lenten Dinner this Friday, April 5 will be hosted by the Boys Scouts. Fried Fish with 2 sides $8. 6 pm in the CTK Gym . Come out and give them your support.
Mark your calendars for next Monday, April 1st! You don't want to miss it! Join St Michael for an exciting public rally celebrating their new athletic complex capital campaign. St. Michael students and elementary Catholic school students who wear a CYO or St. Michael athletic jersey will receive a free hot dog or hamburger! Bring cash as they will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, soft drinks and t-shirts! Food available at 5:15pm, program begins at 6:00pm in the gym.

Reminder that our Lenten Mission featuring Fr. Joy Nellissery begins this evening at 6:00 pm in the church and runs through Wednesday.
It was a great turnout for our second lenten dinner of the season sponsored by the Bilingual Ministry serving their seafood paella, plantains and cornbread. Thanks to everyone who came out to support them.

In March, Christ the King celebrated five (5) years of Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration. Today there are over 450 adorers/guardians who commit a hour of prayer and sacrifice along with hundreds of visitors who drop in during their busy schedule. We are blessed, needless to say, to have this unique gift on our campus and in thanksgiving, we would like to show you this anniversary short video.
